PROJECT OVERVIEW

The vegetation calendar depicts a year-long study of four different vegetation typologies. The calendar exhibits seasonal change in different vegetation structures, supported by subjective and objective observations.

 

Character, context, condition and management will be recorded for each typology, with reflections on how each responds to seasonal change. This will provide an awareness of subtle changes and responses to a changing environment.

 

The study aims to underline the relationship between science and art, and how it informs the design process.
